Yesterday was a relaxing day as we spent it in Raleigh visiting Sean's brother, Shane, sister-in-law, Trish, and nephew, Aiden. It was really nice to get out of the car for the day and Duke enjoyed getting to stretch his legs too (and play a little ball). Sean and Shane got up and played a quick 9 holes of golf; I slept in a little. It was funny when I got up though. Aiden said "Why did it take you so long to get out of bed?" He'll understand some day!
Once the boys got back from golf we headed downtown to a little farmers market and then to have lunch. We sat outside so Duke got to go with us.
When we got back to their house we were entertained by Aiden in his fireman suite and playing ball with Duke on their hill.
We grilled out and honored Cinco de Mayo with a margarita (or two).
Both boys (Duke and Aiden that is) were so tuckered out by the end of the day. Uncle Sean read a story and then it was lights out for them.
This morning was a very early morning as there's another big adventure in store! Don't forget to post your favorite 70's song
