It was her birthday - a BIG one. She said "no parties"...but we couldn't let this one go by without a
little celebration. So we did some scheming and devised a plan we thought would work. It halfway did. My brother and I, combined, ruined part of the surprise - the part about me being there for her birthday ("well, we're just staying at the hotel all week"). We laughed and laughed about it (when my brother finally fessed up that he had said the same thing). We were still able to get a surprise in though. In case you're not familiar, it's a hotel (geared toward kids really) that has an indoor/outdoor water park exclusive to hotel guests. (It's a chain so
follow this link to find one near you.) They really are a lot of fun. In case you need proof - there was a lot of lounging in the pool...
