we took a different route
this trip was more of a direct shot
starting with one last night on the maine coast
and the most amazing clam chowder i've ever had
so much so that we bought some to go for the drive
the second night we stayed in the poconos
the campground was awful so there aren't any pics
the third night we visited rocky top, tennessee
which is the north eastern most tip of the state
and i schooled sean on the nitty gritty dirt band
the last night we spent on the mighty mississippi river
and also the southwestern most tip of tennesse (well, technically across the boarder)
we enjoyed seeing the barges go by
this one was so long i had to do a crooked picture to get it all in
our final day included a stop at texarkana
and bbq at a hole in the wall place
remember how i said duke wasn't much of a fan of guzzy?
