we started with a little time
off the boat
and walking around deer isle
you may remember that we've taken a few day trips here before
but never arrived via sailboat!
after a walk around town
it was time to put the sails up and head out on the open sea
(ok, so this pic is actually taking the sails down, but you get the idea)
where we were treated with more amazing maine scenery
including some lighthouses!
to end the day, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset
together
and completed the night being serenaded by the captain and other passengers
before turning in for the night
it's rough work sailing all day!
